'Spirit of Dragon' 2012 Chinese New Year Show on 11th February at Unity Theatre

It has been a couple of months since our last blog. After Moonlight Reveries Middle Autumn Festival show, we are very proud and honoured to present another exciting "Spirit of Dragon' Chinese New Year Show 8pm on Saturday 11th February 2012 at Unity Theatre. In the show, we will take you onto a memorable journey of rich Chinese culture including history, tradition, philosophy, literature with exciting and enticing dance, music and martial arts performances from local and national talents. For more details please visit here: http://www.facebook.com/events/243589382375232/

'Descents of Dragon' ! That is us the Chinese diaspora. We are very proud of our history, heritage and culture and very much appreciated to all the support we have received from BBC Performing Arts Fund, Co-op Community Fund, Merseyside Police Authority, Unity Theatre, LIC Studio to make this project happen.

We have been working with dancers from different backgrounds for the show, not just Chinese, which we find very rewarding and enjoyable, as we want to share our culture with all communities in UK, impart our knowledge and skills to others and create an opportunity for everyone to celebrate Chinese culture. We will also visit less advantaged groups and give them an opportunity to enjoy and learn about Chinese arts and culture.
